Loud Music Dispute Leaves 1 Dead
LOS ANGELES - The LAPD will present to the District Attorney's Office the case of a 34-year-old woman who allegedly shot a neighbor to death because he was playing loud music during the night, police said.
Stephanie Falcon was booked for murder after the body of
Joshua Von Holder, 29, was found in a Hollywood apartment at 1427 N. Gardner
St. about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Paramedics pronounced Von Holder dead at the scene, LAPD Sgt. Steve Richards
said.
A witness directed officers to a neighboring apartment where Falcon was arrested without incident, said LAPD Officer Jason Lee.
The motive for the shooting appears to be a neighbor dispute
over loud music, Lee said.
