Dispute Ends In Gunfire

One man remains hospitalized and a second is behind bars after a shooting Sunday in a Melbourne neighborhood. Police say the men had been arguing over a loud car stereo in the 2100 block of Smathers Circle when one pulled a gun and shot the other in the face and chest.

23-year-old Timothy Kerstetter was arrested and is charged with attempted murder. 29-year-old Jose Gallardo-Roldan is hospitalized in critical condition, but his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
