PLEASE STOP THIS BOOM BOX MENACE!!!

 The music a person listens to is a matter of personal choice, but that person does not have the right to make others listen to it as well.

The grimaces of retired people at the gas station as some irresponsible individual blasts his version of vulgarity out of his vehicle

as he leaves it on when he goes into the business is telling of a serious problem. We cannot even read a book in our own homes

without being disrupted by the low frequency “thumps” of a passing LAWBREAKER!

In my opinion certainly a first offense fine of $250 is not out of the question. If they have the money to place a $2000 sound system into a

$1000 car certainly they have the money to pay an initial fine. Subsequent violations will result in the confiscation of the equipment and

then the car. If the parents of such individuals tolerate or encourage this type of “entertainment” then they should know that they will

be paying as well.

The final option for those of us who are totally fed up with this scourge, is a total class action lawsuit against the makers and manufacturers

of this type of equipment.
