Boom cars have ruined my life. I no longer can have the windows open in summer or enjoy a peaceful summer night outsight. I no longer can enjoy a night of uninterrupted sleep. I no longer look forward to the weekend as that now simply means the boom cars will be out all night. I no longer even have peace inside my house due to the incessant thumping and rumbling of car stereos. I can't even put my daughter to sleep without thumping coming through the walls. She will only be young once and these horrible people and their horrible sound systems have mitigated my enjoyment of these precious years of her life. It is impossible to overstate the negative impact that boom cars have had on my health, my outlook, and my personality. 

 

Such powerful sound systems need to be made illegal in automobiles. When are our do-nothing legislators going to do something about this boom car cancer that has invaded our communities?
